What is Collagenase?

1. Obtained from Closridumhistolyticum. The optimum pH is 7-8. Has a unique ability to digest natural collagen and denatured collagen. Detergents, HCH and heavy metal ions reduce enzyme activity. It acts exclusively on procollagen, which breaks and is hydrolyzed by other proteases, without hydrolyzing fibrin and globulin.

2. It is obtained by enzymatic hydrolysis, refining and drying using mammalian skin, cartilage, fascia, vascular intestine, cornea and the like as raw materials.

 
Function

1. Mainly used for external burns, can still be used to treat ulcers, thick sores, and spinal cartilage hyperplasia.
